The Mission Society provides global missionary support through missionary recruiting, missionary training and equipping church leaders and others to lead international and short-term mission trips. Based in Norcross, GA, The Mission Society was originally formed to support Methodist missionaries, but now works with a variety of Wesleyan denominations offering missionary training, missionary seminars, missionary workshops and church leadership training throughout the United States and around the world.

Restricted Areas

Year opened: 1986

Currently The Mission Society supports dozens of missionaries serving in areas with restricted access and within the 10/40 Window (the area of Africa and Asia with high concentrations of Islam which is largely unreached). These missionaries work in a variety of roles within society  that enable them to build relationships with local people and through those relationships share the love of Jesus. They are also involved in humanitarian aid, tsunami relief work, Bible translation, literacy training, discipleship, cell-church planting, and ministries to unreached people groups.
