The Mission Society provides global missionary support through missionary recruiting, missionary training and equipping church leaders and others to lead international and short-term mission trips. Based in Norcross, GA, The Mission Society was originally formed to support Methodist missionaries, but now works with a variety of Wesleyan denominations offering missionary training, missionary seminars, missionary workshops and church leadership training throughout the United States and around the world.

Lori Potts

Mission Representative Manager

Lori serves as The Mission Society's Mission Representative Manager. Lori oversees the work of 30+ volunteer Mission Representatives.  She funds her position by raising her own support.

Mission Representatives promote The Mission Society and its ministries by providing information, counsel, and support to pastors, mission leaders, and individuals.  They may contact pastors/mission leaders in churches across denominational lines; speak at a local church service, small group gathering, or other event; arrange dessert, coffee, or other events to introduce missions or missionaries; set up and staff a display at local events or conferences; identify potential missionaries, mission representatives and other missional candidates; identify potential donors to The Mission Society; utilize local media (print/radio/television/internet).

They also assist The Mission Society missionaries on homeland ministry by providing lodging and meals when they are in travel status or arranging home or church meetings to aid in raising prayer and financial support.  Mission Representatives currently reside in many states in the continental U.S. and are available to travel to your area.
