Charlie & Miki Chastain

Field: Russia
Home State: Georgia
Children: Isabel

Charlie, Miki and Isabel Chastain serve in St. Petersburg, Russia, working primarily with disabled orphans and street children. Given the history of abuse and neglect among these children, and the low rate of their success as adults, the Chastains' service includes humanitarian aid and support, but is predominantly relational. The Chastains work to build and strengthen relationships with both the orphaned children of the area and the staff and other volunteers who are also serving there. The Chastains are also seeking to be active members of their community, both as advocates for the orphaned children and as a family strengthened and supported in the grace of God.
