The Mission Society provides global missionary support through missionary recruiting, missionary training and equipping church leaders and others to lead international and short-term mission trips. Based in Norcross, GA, The Mission Society was originally formed to support Methodist missionaries, but now works with a variety of Wesleyan denominations offering missionary training, missionary seminars, missionary workshops and church leadership training throughout the United States and around the world.

The Carricks served with The Mission Society in Paraguay for many years before relocating to Germany. In Paraguay, John taught Biblical studies, theology, preaching, and spiritual formationat the Biblical Institute in Asuncion. Sandra taught English in the local church at San Lorenzo and is homeschooled their children. John now serves as senior pastor of an international church in Bonn, Germany. The church intentionally reaches out to the international community in Bonn. Germany’s 82 million people are almost equally divided between Protestant, Catholic, and “unaffiliated or other” regarding religious preference. A large segment of the population is not associated with a church.
