The Mission Society provides global missionary support through missionary recruiting, missionary training and equipping church leaders and others to lead international and short-term mission trips. Based in Norcross, GA, The Mission Society was originally formed to support Methodist missionaries, but now works with a variety of Wesleyan denominations offering missionary training, missionary seminars, missionary workshops and church leadership training throughout the United States and around the world.

Elliott and Katherine are appointed to develop educational, agricultural, and economic empowerment ministries and build relationships with the people of the Eastern Cape of South Africa. In one of the more impoverished areas of the country, Elliott and Katherine will be supporting a preschool, furthering agricultural programs including hydroponics, leading job skills training and micro-enterprise development, as well as encouraging local pastors. They are also interested in eventually engaging in ministry to orphans of HIV/AIDS, hospice care for HIV/AIDS, and youth development. They have three children – their son Cason will be joining them in ministry in South Africa, and Emily and Ryan will remain in the U.S. for college.
