Nicole McCoy

Field: Kenya
Home State: Georgia
Children: Kitwan & Koredé

Nicole currently works in information technology. She will be serving with Life for Children Ministry in Kenya. Her calling is to empower and disciple Christian women.

Vision:
To advance the economic development of women through education and empowerment. When a woman is educated she is empowered, when she’s empowered she will educate and empower others. We will teach women skills to start business enterprises and while serving the women we will build a bridge through teaching and applying Christian instruction.

Mission:
Assist women in achieving economic independence for business development and wealth building that through hands on training, mentoring and access to pertinent resources.

A community can not truly thrive until women are educated and empowered to take their place in economic development of their own communities. Identify women who will begin the program providing training as well as targeted opportunities for women to move them powerfully into the future. By 2012 a network of 100 Christian Business Education centers will be established in six countries with 300 Christian Women Support Groups in the countries chosen leading 3000 women to Christ.

Impact:
This ministry will empower the lives of many women to become self sufficient outstanding members of their communities. The ministry model is to educate, equip and empower.

Ghana 2006 Short-Term Mission Trip
On Oct. 15 the opportunity to serve on a short term mission team in Ghana became reality when 6 men and 4 women landed in Accra. Team members responded to the call to mission service by serving God’s people in West Africa. For some it was a first journey, for some a second and for two it was third trek to Africa- but in all cases the blessings received far exceed the blessings given. The team served for a total of twelve days with projects ranging from home building to church building to sharing testimony. To God be the Glory!
