Regional Gathering in Istanbul a success

The Mission Society recently held the Asian, African, and European fields’ regional gathering in Istanbul, Turkey. Ninety-one missionaries and staff members attended the event, which was designed to serve as a time of continuing education, rest and renewal, fellowship and worship, and strategic planning for the future. Teachings from Dr. Phil Thrailkill and Dr. Darrell Whiteman offered insight into cross-cultural service, and Jim Ramsay led a time of visioning to follow-up the Horizon Vision meetings held last year in Prague. Lauren and JoAnn Helveston offered pastoral care to the community, and Vicki Decker and Shawn Ramsay led the missionary kid (MK) program.
